Staff Product Designer — Core News, Mobile AppsDesigning the user experience for CNN’s native mobile apps. Seeking new ways to connect people to the world around them. Previous work at CNN included creating a podcast platform with CNN Audio, and launching a premium streaming service with CNN+.
2016–2019
Clarifai
Senior DesignerDesigned the visual layer on top of Clarifai's image & video recognition API to demonstrate the power of its underlying features. Owned the design of Explorer and Labeler — a suite of web apps to create, train and evaluate custom models, as well as manage labeling jobs and collaborate with a human workforce on labeling data. Additional projects included online demos, mobile apps, website redesign and brand refresh.

Napster (formerly Rhapsody Music)
Art Director, User Experience DesignPart of a team that explored the relaunch of Napster as a social platform for discovering new music. Explored ways to interact with and discover new music. Responsibilities included wireframing, user flows, branding and visual design exploration, interactive prototyping, and preparation of production assets.

Interactive DesignerDesigned and launched a major refresh of Exfm — a mobile / web app and browser extension which helped people discover new music through the people and blogs they trust most. Acquired by Rhapsody Music.

Interactive DesignerHelped transition a national cooking digest from print to mobile devices. Responsible for finding moments for interaction and produced digital content to help inspire users to cook confidently, and presenting recipes and editorial features in useful and delightful ways. Collaborated with art directors, design production, photo and video editors. Ate a lot of amazing food.
